7th International Natural Tech Fair | Bio Brazil Fair

Dalai Lama in Brazil, September 2011

His Holiness Dalai Lama will be visiting Brazil from September 15th to 17th , 2011 at São Paulo. It will be a great opportunity for the Brazilians to encounter with the great Buddhist master, philanthropist, author and a master diplomat. His Holiness has a complex schedule for this year, as he is visiting various countries campaigning for the world peace and diversity between nations.

Let's observe some history 
Brazil was discovered during the early 15th century and was a Portuguese colony over 300 years. The effective settlement begun in 1534. The word Brazil comes from "brazilwood" , a typical wood which was traded to Europe from Brazil by the sailors (as taught in schools). Brazilian constitution was formed on 25th March 1824. Brazil became independent on 7th September 1822. The slave trade began to decrease in 1850's and complete abolition of slavery was amended in 1888.
